Switching LCD Screen on Iphone
Hey everyone, so I have decided to switch screens on my iphones rather than swapping batteries. Here's the deal, I got a working screen on my 8gb and a cracked/broken screen on my 4gb. Has anyone transferred screens on an iphone? if so can you post some kind of guide or helpful hints to swapping. I do not want to send it in to get fixed for 200 dollars when I can do it myself(i hope) free of cost. Okay, what tools are necessary for the swap? Anything I need other than the donor lcd screen from the other iphone? I figured the lcd screen was easier to swap out than the battery. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,
Mark Canale

Well that's why I asked also. I didn't know if you couldn't find one, or were stuck on a certain area, or what.
You just aren't finding the right ones, there are at least tow VERY good ones on youtube, but I'd just use the pics and instructions at iFixit: iPod, iBook, & PowerBook Parts and AccessoriesScrew #Winning, I'm #Juanning

Follow the guides as best you can, once you get the hang of it you won't need any guides. Just another helpful hint, ORGANIZE THE SCREWS YOU TAKE OUT. Don't jumble them all together and then forget which screw goes where. They may all look the same, but some of them are different.
