iPhone 3G battery charging sounds?

After recently upgrading my 3G to 2.2 and jailbreaking it with QuickPwn, whenever I have my phone unlocked, I get a damn battery charging sound like every 10 seconds or so...maybe a little longer.

Anyone else getting this?

It's highly annoying.

Any fixes?

Now my Winterboard isn't working...

I select to change something theme wise and my springboard never restarts or does anything.

And I am still getting the charging sound frequently from my phone, locked/sleep mode or if i'm using it too. Just frequently makes the sound that they make originally when you plug it into it's charger.

Can anyone help or shed some light?

Thinkin about just re-jailbraking.
