You cant, all 3 pieces (glass, digitizer, LCD) are fused together from the factory. Any attempt to separate them WILL break the other pieces.
People who sell that part are full of crap. The digitizer is about equivalent to a saltine cracker in strength.
You have to buy the entire part (glass, digitizer, LCD) and replace it....its around $160.
The 3g is different, the pieces are separate and can be replaced alone.

Sorry bro, thats why you see so many of them on ebay for sale with a cracked screen....its too expensive to fix considering you have to buy the entire piece.
Or you see them for sale after somebody attempted to take the glass off and broke everything ;(

Yeah it sux, you'll prolly get about $150-$175 maybe for it with the cracked screen......$300 or so if it wasnt cracked, and the part costs about $160...so there you go.
With some good "marketing" skills you could get a little more....I sold 2 with cracked screens and got $220 for each just last week. But that was a high price.
