i dropped my iphone 3g in the toilet(im such a dumb ***) about a week ago...left it completely alone and then plugged it into the computer a lil bit ago and about 5 minutes later i saw my beautiful pineapple on my screen EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECT...exept my damn camera...when i try and use it, it says "There is not enough room to take additional pictures. Please delete some existing photos." ive only got 33 pictures...haha...ive got about 6.5 GB left in my phone! i know the water damaged it but anyone know any way that mite make it work again?...also cycorder nor iphonevideorecorder work...cycorder just crashes right away and video recorder crashes when i press the record button...

any suggestions would be thanked!!!!!!

the module is most likely shorted, try opening the phone if you feel you have the skills and patience to do so. Check the camera module for corrosion or liquid damage. if it's just corrosion, get some contact cleaner and wipe it off, try again and your camera may be fine, if it looks like permanent liquid damage you need a new camera module, check pdaparts.com or ebay

Hey Magnum, did you have any luck with your camera fix? Replaced module? I have same problem of my iphone 3G camera not working after water damage. It only shows a black screen.
