I just recently scrwed my phone by updated to 2.2

my phone now is DEAD , i tried connecting to itunes , and the wall.. doing hard resets... NOTHING is working.

I want to exchange it but... I dont have att anymore , I have tmbile.. (does tht matter)

anywayz will apple replace the phone??

oh yeah my other phones ejector and ear piece dont work!

I also dont have att on tht.. how am I going to replace tht with out a damn att chip.... I hate my self now ..

There is no way you totally bricked the phone by upgrading it.

Do this:

1. itunes open, phone plugged into PC....and well, phone off.

2. Hold POWER button for 5 seconds.

3. WITHOUT letting go of POWER, now hold HOME button for 10 seconds (both held)

4. Let go of POWER button, CONTINUE to hold the HOME button until itunes recognizes the phone (usually about 10-20 seconds).

5. Restore.

You need to jailbreak and then unlock it.

My phone is 3g I don't think I can unlock it.

^^Yeah your stuck with 2.2 at the moment.

But its early, hopefully something will come out (in the form of another sim-adaptor, or even better soft unlock).
