help missing applications

So I have a 3g iphone now running FW 2.2 it was previously jailbroken on 2.1


my problem:

Had the application "categories" installed and had all my applications in folders including cydia and big boss pref etc


now that I've updated and re jailbroken all the apps seem to still be gone/hidden I cant ssh into my phone either



so far I've tried restore and the reset home screen layout on the phone and it hasnt worked



can someone help me out at all??

Restore and set it up as a new phone

That happens when you update w/o taking apps out of the folders first. Try restoring it and set up as a new phone like redcard said, dont set up as a back up
