Always shows 6 new text messages !!!

I restored my phone to 2.2(Jailbroken) and for some reason I have 6 unread text messages, when ever I go and read them, the number of unread text messages drops for about 1 second then just jumps back to 6 ?

I've tried "Treasuremytext" and actually deleted one of the "New" text messages, but even still, its showing 6 unread?

How can I fix this ? Thanks!

You have no other application installed from Cydia or Installer that is managing yout text messages like biteSMS or anything correct?

There is a one touch delete all SMS package on Cydia you can try out. It should clear out your database. Do that and restart your spring board by either downloading the ReSpring app from Cydia or going into a term and type: killall SpringBoard
