.deb installation problem

I have successfully uploaded pdanet1.33.deb in my iphone.

Now whenever I run the dpkg -i......deb command on the terminal window

I keep getting the error:

system package (iphoneos-arm) does not match (darwin-arm)

The error is something like mentioned above.

Someone please help me out. I am not able to install my pdanet .deb file.

Did you have 1.4 installed and was it removed prior to the install of 1.33?
I had this problem with Logome.
if I recall correctly I went to cydia let it scan for updates, down loaded something like a theme, resprung then rebooted. after that tried to reinstall and it worked.
It would be interesting to see if it worked for pdanet too
