********** app icons dont appear

Ok, i just updated an iphone 3g to 2.2, re-jailbroke and downloaded appshare, **********, and mipatch, and when i try to install cracked apps, everything works fine. However, an iphone 1st gen, installed appshare, **********, and mipatch, and when i install a cracked app, it does not appear on the Springboard. So I used MobileFinder to see if the app installed anyway, and it is in the file system, so is there a way to fix this problem? Thank you.
