Ok, I've searched these forums for a solution. and i cant find anything.
So here's my issue,
I bought a brand new iphone, through a buddy.
I didnt have a sim in the phone, and i connected it to itunes, and it said put a sim in, so i put my sim in so it could activate itself.
I got a popup on the phone saying "succesfuly activated"
On my current contract (non iphone contract) i don't have unlimited data, or texting. i have like 1500 texts and no data.
Someone was saying that i need to have an iphone contract to get unlimited data and texting, and that it is more expensive than a non iphone contract? They also said that i HAVE to extend my contract?
The regular att contract for unlimited data AND texting is 35$ a month.
I was told for the iphone contract its like 30$ for data, and 20$ for texting, then i have to extend my contract yadda yadda.
So is there anyway i can use my regular att contract and use the 35$ unlimited data and texting plan?
Or what are my other alternatives?
Do i need a Gevey unlocking sim?
ALL you have to do is add the "iphone data plan" which gives you unlimited data and 200 txts. It costs an extra $20 a month (for a 2g) or $30/month (for a 3g).
Thats it....you dont have to extent your contract or change your voice plan.
excellent news. Do i have to go to the att store to do that?
because i can't figure out how to do it online.
and how much is it to get unlimited data and unlimited texting?
