    Default iPhone 2G 1.1.4 to 2.1, Need help on how to do this! :)

    I need help with updating my iPhones software which is on 1.1.4, I want to update to 2.1. Please help me how to do this.
    Can someone show me step by step on how to do this properly without turning my iPhone into a brick. Thanks.

    Take a look at the guides tab on top and look for some of the wiki guides on upgrading. You'll find everything you need in there.
