well first off i think installer sucks so you wont get any support on that from me. as far as cydia goes...first go and search for "cydia community sources" and install it. now you have all the fun stuff. download winterboard (Just search it in cydia) and check this site on how to download themes that you like and how to apply them in winterboard. that should at least get you started

^Yes, you need a wifi connection.
Your best bet is to look around MMi and see what some good third-party applications are...
To get apps from Cydia, simply open Cydia and look around at all the different categories there are and read descriptions of the things available for download; there will definitely be at least a few you like... Your best bet is to just open Cydia and play around in it for a while learning how everything works.
When you do finally get to learning everything, one of the best things to download is "Winterboard", which will allow you to put different themes on your interface and customize almost anything.
Good luck and come back to MMi with any questions you have.

Okay, I see what you mean (that seems to happen to me all the time), although mine was literally only like 30 seconds after your, apparently... And I had some new info in there.
If I cared about my post count, I'd have way more posts here in 7 months and wouldn't spontaneously not post here for weeks at a time every so often then come back.Respect your elders.

^Yessir. I recommend Cycorder; I've just had really good experiences with it and it's pretty quality.
As for the wifi, you can always use EDGE to download things on Cydia as well, it's just much slower.Respect your elders.

No man, you can still do it over the T-Mobile network as long as you have the plan for it. It will be slower though. Just try to find a wifi hotspot like at a coffee shop or something and work there for a while.
