Stupid Question?
I'm sorry if this makes someone laugh, I'm not a beginner, I just don't know...
Is it necessary to have a sim card in the iphone when performing the quickpwn?? I need to have my sim in another phone in case i get a call while the iphone is being unlocked...
???
Thanks
Chris

nope. quickpwn will "hacktivate" the phone for you.
itunes is where it checks for the sim card anyways. never in quickpwn. im pretty sure on that one.

Well the bad news is that I could not the quickpwn to work and it CRASHED MY PHONE...but the good news is that I was able to get it to firmware 2.2 which is what I asked Jesus for when it appeared my phone was bricked...so, with that said, I'm happy with the fact that my 350.00 investment is working.
Thanks To My Lord and Savior!
PS: Thanks for all those who put in your two cents to help me through my problem...and I'll be eagerly awaiting the 2.2 Jailbreak

forgot to say...i did manage to get it working; only after countless times to restore. All of a sudden it just decided to restore. I upgraded to 2.2 and then jailbroke it with 2.2 QuickPWN...all is well now! I can now go back to busting asses on the street...

Thanks Guys!
