Anyway to get around iPhone passcode for security?
My mom took my iphone, but thank god I have a pass code on it. Now I have some sms convos and pictures it would be best she not see, and she is definetely eager to break in it. She said she will call ATT, but there is no way they can do anything about it. And if she goes to Apple I doubt they will help her because my phone is jailbroken. Does anybody know if she can get around my passcode (I'm on 2.0 and aware of the easy hack through the emergency call, but sure she won't know of it)? Or is there anything I can do to make sure there is now ay she can get in? (She also hid it from me, so that makes it harder)
thanks for reading!

Same way we've been getting around it with the contacts hack since 1.0, do a search for the procedure.

^^^^ that only happens some of the time and hard to do at that. if your mom is determined she will get in. i dont even know if we should even be answering these kind of questions here. there is no way for us to confirm that you dont just need to get into someone elses iphone...just saying

Yes it has been fixed, but if you re-read the original post they're still on 2.0.
I'd hide the charger and hope the battery goes dead in the meantime! If your phone's turned on (albeit passlocked) I'd keep ringing it - not only will this kill the battery quicker but it might help you find it!

Dude, your mom is messed up. What did you exactly do? When I saw the thread title I knew it was an invasion of privacy issue and I was right, lol. Time you for you do some espionage and reclaim your phone. Smart thing with the password though. Do you know where it's located? Taking it back will make it obvious that you were hiding something. I think you should grab your iPhone when she's sleep and erase it.
I'd enjoy a good story right about now, the truth will set you free..Android user suffering from iPhone withdraw.
