    Get top from Cydia

    Then type top in Terminal

    It'll list the processes.

Simply find the PID for the process you want to kill

Then type kill PID xxx in Terminal

xxx being the PID # listed in top

im pretty sure that means its like a process tree. kinda like in windows when you can end a process or end a process tree. i may be wrong but i think thats it

im not too familiar with those services. i think schelper stands for springboard crash helper for like when the springboard crashes (probably when mobile substrate boots into safe mode or something) mobilephon sounds like a pretty legit process so i wouldnt kill that.

You don't need top. Plus top only lists the TOP running processes.

    # ps -fea|more

This will list every process running on your phone.

I have two configd files in my list of processes. I saw this after I attempted to install Veency program but got errors when trying to do this and then after I removed it, I noticed 2 running - should I attempt to kill one or remove one if possible?
