Trading iPhones...? Back up/Restore Options.
My daughter has a 2g 16g iphone jailbroke 2.1 firmware, i have the 2g 8g iphone jailbroke 2.1 firmware. What we would like to do is trade phones, where as i use the space and she does not. Could anyone explain the easiest way to do this. As i would like to keep the downloads i have and she would like to keep hers. I have installed AptBackup on both phones, and sync them with their individual itunes. Now should i just restore both phones then rejailbreak them then sync with itunes...would this work? Or is there a easier way. I would prefer to not have to go through each phone and uninstall apps, themes, utilities,etc..that just seems complicated and time consuming.
Any responses would be appreciated.

Ull be left with nothing but problems.
Nothing's easy...
You should connect each to Itunes and let it back up.
Then do a restore and let itunes wipe each phone.
When it comes time to restore it will ask to setup as new phone or restore from backup...
You can select the backup from the opposite phone and should be good to go.
Of course you'll have to jailbreak and all after
but on the up side..... your music, contacts and all itunes info will be present.
Try using APTbackup in cydia for the jailbroken apps.
IMO though I wouldnt do either way... I would just start fresh and sync my contacts but thats just me.
