Notes and Contacts freeze for 3-4 secs

hey, everytime i launch contacts, notes or even the recent calls my iphone freezes on me for like 3-4 secs and then it's back to normal, has this happened with anyone?

is there anything i can do to get rid of this?

Mine does the same thing. its annoying but i just deal with it, if there is a solution it would be nice but i really dont care that much myself. i just look like an idiot trying to type a note in and nothing freakin happens. hahahaha

yea it only happened recently... btw i'm running 2.1 on a 3G if that helps anyone..

2.1 jailbroken with mobilesubstrate broke it again.

^If you're willing to give up on some things (jailbreak stuff) for the sake of a bit faster load time, then yes. I've never used mobilesubstrate, but my jailbroken 2G 2.1 is still somewhat slow on the load times simply due to the other things I have installed.

yeah its ok. mine kinda lags too. its not your fault. probably a new firmware will help out with it

Remember, any app that uses the mobilesubstrate (you can find out which ones by going into Cydia and right before you confirm to remove it, it will list at the bottom what apps will be removed) runs all the time since it runs with the springboard. Some apps I personally found like Notifier really lag the phone and had to reboot every day or two. Some winterboard themes can lag up the phone too.
