Different services Thread

Im always reading about different types of services that you guys use for the Iphone. Im going to be stationed in the US again in a couple of months and I want to use a service that is cheap and doesnt cost $70 for the minimum plan that ATT offers. What service are you guys using and how much do you pay month for it, also what does it offer? Unlimieted text/internet? Thanks
