I need some help with my iPhone 3G and the sim adaptor for unlocking the iPhone
Hi Guys,
Right now I have iPhone 3G 8GB 2.1 Firmware on AT&T. I like AT&T and the 3G speeds but it's just costing me too much money to own this phone with AT&T as my carrier. I have been hearing people using these adapters that you put on your sim card and it works excellent on any carrier ? I'd like to cancel my plan with AT&T and re-sign with T-Mobile and get my FleXAccount running again. How reliable are these sim adapters ? I don't know anything about them at all. Where can I get one and for how much.
Thanks a million

Why not just get a 2G phone so you don't have to worry about the sim adapters?

Ya. Is the network you are going to allow 3G data? Might be something to look into.
I am pretty sure most people on TMo and such do not even use 3G networks.

i was looking into this too but its just too much money to get myself into so i decided to just settle with the 2g since i dont need the 3g network for anything and my plan is with T-Mobile. some of them look legit but i just dont know
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

You can't use the 3G speeds on iPhone 3G if you use it on T-Mobile. AT&T and T-Mo use different frequencies. T-Mo at 1800MHz while AT&T is on 1900MHz.
