Sure you could rotate all the icons and make up the dock to be landscape....but the status bar and such would remain.
You'd prolly get tired of it quick.

I am a noob at all this. I dont even know how to look into the folders of the iphone to mod things. I got some of the basics down but nothing really big. Windows Mobile phones i can do just about anything but these iPhones are too complicated. So is there any programs I need?

been searching for this for a while,a lot of people seem to want it like landscape mod and mms(in original iphone app),the blackberry storm is a great example for this.If you turn it sideways,it changes all of the icons automatically.pretty cool
On the side note, isn't there a way we can customize iphones ORIGINAL .app, like adding landscape mod to it our self?

I have been poking around with this for a while now. I cannot get it to flip around though when the phone is switched from the vertical to the horizontal position so it always stays in the horizontal position.

The only way I can see this working is an app that is running all the time to detect the position of your iPhone if you want it to flip when you tilt it. You can say goodbye to battery life and it would get annoying really quick which is probably why it hasnt been done.
You could make a winterboard icon theme tho that removes the labels from your programs and then manually rotate each icon and make it into this theme.
It would only be a on/off type theme tho. No auto rotate and not sure if you can completely kill the status bar in Winterboard.

There have been landscape themes done, But I really think its impractical. Also, as someone else said, the status bar isnt really movable.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

intelliscreen has intellDial and that flip thing when you miss a call.It doesn't really kill the battery.I think a good idea would be just like boxxa said is have app,but the app should be always silent.as soon as the iphone censors tilt.the app runs full and move the whole screen to the side.I want to read over how iphone works.but saddly don't have the time right now.
