Backup itunes informations?

hi all, im about to format and i dont wanna lose all my itunes files because last time i formated. i had to restore my phone cuz even with my backup it wouldnt even load my contacts. so i had to enter them all over again... i was really pissed. and i head somehow that u can make a backup of some itunes files , so you dont have to resync everything all over again. it detects phones as urs even on a pc newly formatted.

im seeking for your help all.

with Contacts..it is best to have it on Outlook...that way you can sync it every time.

no i mean cuz when u format , and u try to sync ur phone to a newly formatted computer it says that the phone isnt from that computer. so u cant add music and u can backup . it backups but doesnt backup anything. the way im searching for is like pasting the old .xml or somthing like this so the pc thinks it was never formatted. because last time i lost all my contacts. i didnt know i had to so something, and now im searching the way to do it
