    Default newbie in trouble

    i brought a gen 1 ipod touch today version 1.1.2 i think. i purchaced an upgrade off itunes and installed it. now my ipod keeps saying connect to itunes. when i do it says 'itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode. you must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes'. so ive restored it and it just displays the same message.

    Help!!

    Little tabs at the top of the forum that say "ipod, iphone, etc..."

    click the ipod one.
