why isn't the iPhone opensrc?
I've wondered, you've wondered, and only Steve jobs really knows (but I doubt he really does) WHY ISNT THE IPHONE OPEN SOURCE?!? It would hella blow the blackberry outa teh water if it was opensrc and I bet sales and popularity would go up even more. So does anyone have any ideas or answers or anything please enlighten us

If it were open source, then people could put the iPhoneOS on other phones... this would lessen the demand for the actual device itself.

ya I guess that makes sense... I like the ability to do stuff like zips and music and play it w/o syncing to a comp that blackberrys do but I love the iphone alot
And btw if it's so useless why'd u bother replying reako? Hmm?Last edited by yomommah; 11-14-2008 at 12:03 PM.
