Problem Sending Email

I searched here and google but couldnt find a direct answer.

Im trying to send email over 3g, but it wont send. Even on my old iphone 1g edge it wouldn't send.

Anyone know how to fix it to send email over edge? I have a comcast email account also.\

Will it send over edge or wi-fi? When you say "it won't send" this doesn't give enough info. Does it give an error or cannot connect message?

It will send over wifi. Not edge or 3g. It says "Cannot send mail, the sender adress was invalid"

But the address is correct cuz its my own email and it works on wifi.

Even on my 2g iphone i cant send email unless its on wifi. Any ideas?
