Well, AT&T throws massive charges your way if they catch you tethering, right?

But, except something obvious like 10 gigs of torrenting data through your iPhone's data connection, how are they to tell whether you're accessing their network through an iPhone or through a laptop?

I'm basically asking if there's any way for them to catch you tethering besides massive data transfer sizes on your account.
