    Default Extract from MDBACKUP files

    I have got a bunch of *.mdbackup files and i was wondering if there was anyway i could extract any version of the sms.db file from them.

    I lost the file on my iphone and havent synced so it is in there somewhere.

    Im running on a pc, is there any script/program that will enable me to do this?

    Sorry for bumping the super old thread, but I really wanted to answer the question.

    If you are looking for SMS backup file, search 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28 in %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

    Mine doesn't have .mdbackup extension on it, because mdbackup is for older version (iTunes 8 and older).
