Can i customize icons without Winterboard with SSH?

was considering removing winterboard to see if it speeds upi the phone, but is there a way to customize icons through ssh? if so, where woould i go in SSH to change the icons (im using Cyber Duck)

Yeah, by manually overwriting EVERY icon, which are stored in each app folder.

it depends which apps u are looking for.

cydia/installer apps are in /Applications

appstore apps are in /private/var/mobile/Applications with the appstore apps, you'll have to look thru the folders to find the apps.

The only thing that keeps me from doing this is the inability to set the wallpaper on the home screen with the 3G.
