Help! I just got a 3G iPhone with my old unlock iphone sim
Hey I just got a new unlock 3G iPhone and a new sim card but my plan from AT&T is still the same! I have to $20 data plan not the 3G plan! anyways AT&T send me a text saying that I'm useding a 3G iphone and I don't have a 3G data plan and to call the 1-800 ## to avoid data overage charges!
What should I do? can someone help me? thanks!!

Get on the 3G plan and use the new SIM card in the 3G. YOu can put your old sim card in to import the contacts but you need to make sure you are on a 3G plan or you are gonna be nailed with fees and charges when you use the data.

So what if I turn off 3G on the iPhone, would I still get extra charge? I just want to upgrade to that $$$ *** 3G plan!!
