How to Restore Old SMS Messages

Hi.

Currently i have a big problem! On one slightly drunken night i managed to accidentally clear a conversation i had on my iphone. This had about 2000 messages in it!

When i got home today i pulled the SMS.db file off the phone. When i opened it in wordpad i could see that alot of the old messages i had supposedly deleted were in fact still there, but just would not show up on the actual iphone.

So, i was wondering if there is some kind of way of opening the sms.db file and shifting the deleted conversation back in to the main inbox?

If i could do that i could just paste it back through SSH.

If thats not possible, is there anyway i can simply view the deleted messages in a more convenient way that the wordpad?

SMS.db is a sqlite database, you can read it using any sqlite program. I use the one on Cydia.

Ok im trying to use sqlite programs, but where can i find the deleted messages?
