anyone know if i can use a griffin itrip with my iphone?

as the title says, i want to play the music from my iphone in my car but cant get the sound to go through the itrip, or an auxillary lead? help please?

Unless it was designed after and specifically says it works with the iPhone, then no it wont. If it plugs into the cigarette lighter port, then it will probably charge it. I have a FM Transmitter that worked with my Creative Zen Vision:M, but the only way I could get it to work with my iPhone was to have an audio plug, plug into the headphone jack. But I can plug in the USB cord and it will charge it at the same time. Messy but it works

it should work no problem.

My gf has a iTrip Auto that she used to use on her old ipod. So its by any means 'NEW'
and it works perfect on my 3G and her Brand New Nano.

i have a griffin itrip that used to work with my old ipod nano but i cant see why it wont work with my iphone, it does charge the phone but wont play the sound through the transmitter, unless theres a setting that i have to activate or something?
