    Default iPhone won't charge

I woke up this morning and looked at my phone which was on the charger and noticed it wasn't charging (it was actually depleting). Now, the rest of the day I've had it plugged in all day and it stays at approximately 30%. Any ideas?

Well, my phone is still under warranty but the problem now is that it is jailbroken and I can boot it up to restore it. The image on the screen shows that it is plugged into a power source so it knows that it's plugged in it just isn't powering up.

^^That could be ok too....if it WONT turn on, then Apple cant see its jailbroken

Make sure it didnt get any water damage first though, otherwise your out of luck. Check the water sensor in the headphone jack, shine a light down in it and you should see a "white" dot on the bottom....if there's ANY "blue" on that dot...your out of luck.

Thanks. There appears to be no water damage. Just wish I would have backed up my data when I realized it wasn't charging. Guess I figured it was just the battery gauge needing to be reset by letting it fully discharge. Live and learn I guess.

Well, I tried putting my phone into DFU mode and apparently that worked... Is there any way to get my data off of the phone in DFU mode before I try restoring it?

Ha, nevermind. I just decided to restore it to factory settings which appears to have worked but as soon as it was done restoring it went back to being unable to charge. At least this way if they some how get it to load they won't see a pineapple. :-)

There's a charge pin and a sync pin the two are different, most of the time it is both, but occasionally it is one or the other, you're very lucky to still be able to sync.
