Default "Locked Sim" on unlocked Iphone

I have a company phone from the Netherlands and I have transferred the sim card to a unlocked Nokia and it works fine and I receive and make calls normally.

I would now like to use this sim in my first unlocked Iphone and have my business calls on this as I have a normal 3G for my home use.

Why does it say that my sim is locked, but works on another phone....?

what provider are you with now? is it T-mobile? ATnT?

alot of people are confused with the term unlock, it's for people from other carried to use iPhone. if you are using iPhone 3G, there is no unlock yet but there is jailbreak now... for unlock you may need to wait...

    hope that helps

    My Iphone is unlocked.

The sim card is from KPN Netherlands. when I put it into my Nokia it askes for a 4 digit PIN code, but when I put it into the Iphone it just says locked sim.

Is the "Locked SIM" from the iphone due to the PIN number requirement..??
