Help!!! Immediate response going to AppleCare.
this morning my home button started to not work. Whenever I'm in an app and I press the home button, the application wouldn't close. I yired to turn it off by pressing the home and power button at the same time, it doesn't turn off, only the slide power bar shows up. Basically my home button is not working when it's pressed. I have restored it as a new phone and that hasn't fixed the problem. I have an appointment today with apple and I want to make sure that if I go and let them do the diagnostics that they won't find that I've jailbroken my phone before. Just want to make sure so if they can't fix it, they'll replace it. Please help asap. Want to make sure I'm safe to see an apple associate.
Click that "Thanks" button if I helped you!

They won't even know it's been jailbroken. Relax it's all good.

Bad flex cable. Home button, speaker, mic, sync, charge, and a wealth of other stuff is connected to that one cable. Considering how much effort they went through to make it as impossible as can be to get to it, I'd like to extend a middle finger salute to the designer in question. All they had to do is make the bottom case accessible in the frame to completely solve this problem.
