After 2.1 upgrade iPhone messed up.

So last night i updated my iPhone from 2.0.2 to 2.1 and after i updated eveyrthing went fine. After u restored from a back the iphone stays at the apple logo vibrating and wont stop. I also noticed when i was backing up BEFORE i updated that the backup took about 10-15 minutes so i think that the backup is corrupted so when i went to restore from a backup it messed up my phone but i am not sure. Can anyone please help becuase i have done this about 4 times and same results eveytime.

same thing happend to me and i think its becasue you have winterboard and 5dock installed.make sure to uninstall that first

Put the phone in DFU mode, and then restore the phone to 2.1

When you setup the phone, don't hit restore from backup. Set the phone up as a new phone.

Once that's done, sync the phone with iTunes to restore your contacts, music, etc.

This gets rid of most of the restore problems people have.
