I'm trying to get my Wii online via my iPhone (EDGE is faster than my dialup and I want Wii Shop) and it won't accept a SOCKS proxy. I know connect.c is an http proxy but I can't figure out how to make it work. I've already tried tethering to my laptop with PDAnet and then telling the Wii to use my laptop as the gateway and OpenDNS as DNS but it won't connect to an Ad-Hoc network and if it's on my normal Belkin wifi PDANet doesn't work. How can I get an HTTP proxy to work on my iPhone, please help.
