If you just want "text"....then you can download an app called "Make it mine" from Cydia which will allow you to change the logo to whatever you type.

Well also, Supreme Prefferences does the same thing, and has a lot of other cool features.
Just thought id inform you on that one too.
Its also in Cydia.

I was able to do this when my phone was on 1.1.4 os, but since upgrading to 2.2 it is not in cydia any more. whats up with that? Anyone? Loved this feature, wish it was availible.
reading the change log on this app in cydia, states that they haven't fixed the carrier logo yet as of Dec. 26th.Last edited by blkcadi; 01-02-2009 at 03:11 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

yes it is in cydia, when you search input makeitmine all one word. Extended preferences also gives you this option as well. I just use make it mine though.
If you say the changelog for supreme prefs says that, it may be the same with ext prefs. I never used the feature I just noticed it when changing options.Last edited by evolutionarymc; 01-02-2009 at 03:15 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Am I doing something wrong? I type my name in the blank, touch "Carrier", then restart my iPhone. My name is still not showing up. ???
Nvm, it's working now. =)Last edited by noggin123450; 01-06-2009 at 05:03 PM.
