help... 2.1 to 2.02 iphone 3g
Hi all. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I am having trouble downgrading my 2.1 3g iphone back down to 2.0.2. I have searched and tried many things.
I uninstalled itunes 8, and dl itunes 7.7
On itunes 8:
tried to unplug the iphone while restoring. (In one of my searches thats one thing someone suggested?
Tried restore with the 2.02 firmware that I dl on here,
tried it in restore mode, and in dfu mode, no results. Error 13
On itunes 7.7:
I had the phone in DFU mode, and hit restore and update, itunes then started to dl 2,02 and nothing, error 13 again. tried it in restore mode, samething... error 13
Tried the firmware 2.02 that I dl from our dl section, same results.
Any help is appreciated. I have everything that I know and searched to no avail.
THANKS!!!

forget curiosity, there is NO reason to go back to 2.02.
- both are unlocked
- both are jailbroken
- All 2.x apps are cross compatible
- 2.1 is the most stable firmware of the two
- 2.02 had over 60 bugs that were fixed in the 2.1 update
No reason no matter what.iMac 27" i5 quad 2.8Ghz (1TB), MacBook Pro 17" 2.6, iPhone 4s

Well most of the cracked apps do not work, and the custom boot/reboot logos dont apply. I dislike that pineapple. I never had a problem with the 2.02 firmware

All off the 2.x apps should work they are cross compatible, what apps specifically are you having problems with. And the Boot logo you can change back to the apple....
