the app called "USB Drive"
it creates partitions and lets you put the iphone into disk drive like removable storage.
if you have it installed and you choose "Disk mode", it wont show up in itunes or recognize it until you set it back to "Default"
if you have it installed that is, i had this problem for about 3 months and then found that out :S

lol yea I see what you mean now...IF I have it installed that may be why I can't see it. Well dispite my misunderstanding I think we can establish I don't have it installed haha! But at least that way I can transfer my photos etc onto my laptop

hi bro
i need ur favour i'm having same problem like Yojax
my iphone is not appearing in my win7 i followed all the procedures in this thread but in vain still got the problem there is no Apple driver in Device manager plz help me out
