they have diffrent cases that require you to take the phone apart they look good. i saw a black back with a gold bezel and apple logo to much work for me tho..

I have a spare 8gb that I'm thinking should get the treatment. It really has no purpose in life with my 16gb as my daily user so I was thinking I'd get wild with it.
.................hmmmmmmm I might take it apart tonight and shoot the back and sim tray with satin finish black then clear coat it. Maybe the trim also.....Screw #Winning, I'm #Juanning

you know what would really look good though? Fire engine high gloss red with that chrome apple on back.

^^True true...I though about powder coating the backplate and bezel. Have done that before on car parts, just gotta get some more materials.

well perhaps the best way to to is rubberized undercoating and just lay a thin skin on it permanently for protection.

I am a software guy... the only reason im trying to figure how to make some mods without extensive disassembly etc is because i dont wanna mess the phone up =P Cost me 2 summers of allowance!
Anywho... ill have to figure it out!

^^Understandable, I guess if you were careful, and took your time you could paint the backing without disassembly.
