    Default iPhone 2G Questions

    I currently have an unlocked iPhone 2G running software version 1.1.4.

    Are there any ways to update the software on it to the latest (2.0.1 I believe) and keep the unlock? also jailbreak?

    Also, can anyone recommend any good Apps that will allow me to record videos?

    the latest firmware is 2.1 and you can use quickpwn (pc)/quickpwn or pwnage (mac) to jailbreak and unlock. look in the wiki section for guides

    as for video recording there's qik and cycorder but i am not familiar with them
