    Default iphone died

    My 2G iphone died yesterday due to the wifi stopped working. Since I bought the phone used, the previous owner did activate the phone on AT&T so it was entitled for warranty. I went to the Apple store and they confirmed that the phone was broken and swapped me another 2G phone.

    Since I'm using Tmobile, (unlocked and jailbroken), would I need to activate it with AT&T for the new phone to be under warranty?
