    Default Need a lilttle help..

Here is what I did. There is a post that describes how to back up most of your phone and then copy it back on after quickpwn.
I SSH into my phone, copied the entire library folder onto my computer, I then quickpwned and got 2.1 running, got SSH on phone and SSH'd back in. I then copied the ENTIRE library folder back onto my phone..NAY NAY they say, I should have only copied a select group of files..Anyhow, when I checked my phone I did not have my calender, contacts etc as I thought I would, so I tried to get on itunes and I get the error message " could not connect to phone due to invalid response from the device".
I re downloaded itunes and tried again, NAY NAY same response.. NOT GOOD !! My question is, I apparantly corrupted some of the files required to log into itunes, is there a way to correct that? If not, if I quickpwn my phone again and start from scratch will that do it??

ur utterly retarded ( j/k I mean that in a nice way)
cause jailbreaking doesnt delete your information only upgrading does.
(restoring does too but your restoring so it "restores" your backedup info)

So if you were just JailBreaking Your information would have still been on the phone.

What you need to do is a restore(see if you can get ur phone into dfu mode), then jailbreak again.

ok, let me prove you right ! DFU MODE??? What the H is that? I cannot get onto itunes so I can't restore my phone. I am not familiar with DFU or what it does.. I will tell you I am totally "retarded" when it comes to this stuff.. Took me a week to finally get the nerve up to upgrade from 1.4 to 2.1, and then I screw it up anyhow. I am assuming that some of the files that I screwed up were the ones that told I tunes the phone was running 2.1.
