Ok, so I am new here, and to the Iphone scene for that matter, but I think I may have stumbled upon something here. I have both and Iphone 3G, and a 2G. I was playing with the old one and screwed it up, so I restored it. I then had to re-activate it using the SIM the Apple store activated for me. I was activated to the 3G plan, $30 + $5 for texting.
Well after I activated the 2G phone, it worked fine, and so I went ahead and unlocked it using the QuickPwn tool. Everything worked great!! So, I transferred my sim card back to my 3G phone, and the phone did not even hiccup... so what does this mean?? Well I was curious so I got online to att's website to verify my features, and it had changed me to the $20 plan.
Has anyone else tried this? I still see the 3G icon on my screen, and it seems to load just as fast as it did before I did this. Any ideas? I could not find any other posts that may have contained this information...
