    Default IPhone emei change clarification

    I have a 2g iphone that i would like to change the imei to use on a business contract. anyway it has 2.1 (jailbroke) on it. am i correct that with 2.1 you can not change the imei on the phone and if i want to do this i will have to downgrad to 1.1.4 to be able to do this with ziphone?
