Battery Draining
I bought a 2g for the wife, I have successfully jailbroken/unlocked it to the lastest 2.2, however I have been having the same problem since day one. The start?/home screen will continously start up when not in use draining the battery so it will not even last a day even when not using it. I have tried every setting from every website that talks about disabling services, and it still is doing no good. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

fly high lol airplane mode and disable wifi, thats what i do

I didn't realize 2.2 was out.
(ps try turning the backlight really low, wifi off, BT off)

it isn't out, only Beta seeded to developers. 2.1 is still current Apple - iPhone - Software Update

2.1 is installed, I am not a developer or I could fix this probkem.
