Hey all,

I find this site extremely helpful, and it has educated me on many things since i jailbroke my iPhone. I have googled all morning to no avail. I am wondering how i can totally hide the carrier signal bars, logo. I have "no service" a lot in my room and i know where and where i do not get service, and i hate seeing it on my phone. Is there a way to hide everything including the "no service" on my iPhone?

Also, i am using the "Juicy Theme With An Edge" and if possible i wanted to put some sort of juicy crown where those things would be. I am still pretty new at this, so if someone knows a way all of this can be accomplished, can you put it in an easy to understand way? Thank you so much in advance

well if your on 1.1.4u could use customize and change the string for now service just put a space for txt. For 2.x and winterboard Hack that Phone - Make and use themes with WinterBoard - Section 7: Changing cellular signal strength bars try this site very good details for makeing winterboard stuff

Ty veru much I will check out the winterboard link. I am running 2.1 on my iphone and mac osx leopard btw.

Hiya, In cydia do a search for Smiley Signal Bars and it will replace your signal bars with smiley faces that change with different signal strenghts, also if you wanted to change your carrier name you can install MIM better known as "make it mine" and you can change the name to whatever you want.

Both of them work through winterbaord, so make sure you tick em both in winterboard if you are going to use them.

Thank you for trying, but since it says "no service" it seems the smileys aren;t working. I know it seems silly, but seeing the no service really peeves me. I have used make it mine as well but when its no service thats all it says....

i guess i will have to try my hand at the winterboard link to see if i can figure it out.
