Default HEadphone taken out but still in headphone mode...

So this happens often where I pull my headphones out and they still think they are in headphone mode..... and then I have to keep plugging it in and out till it goes back to regular mode.....

Any ideas or tips that can solve this problem.... if I started a new thread on a old topic I'm sorry.

Stick a paper clip in the end of the jack near the top is a bar that needs to be persuaded to come out a little bit, pushed in cuts off the connection to the rest of the audio circuit and puts it in headphone mode.
