Iphone 2g fw2.1 - Is it a Bug ?

i have 2 g Iphone on 2.1FW
I just notice this
there used to be (on 1.1.4 FW) ON/Off Button which will let you Block your # while making outgoing Call

On 1.2 FW
If you go to
settings
Phone
Show My Caller ID
the Button is there but it is Disabled

is this a bug in 1.2FW ?

anybody else have notice this or its just me ?

if this function is simply disabled then why ?

I dont have a problem turning it on and off... I am on a 3G though but I wouldn;t expect it to make a difference
