Cannot hear each other the first few seconds
I've noticed when I pick up a phone call on my Iphone 2G, especially if it's connected to a wifi network, I cannot hear the person on the other end and they cannot hear me for the first 2 seconds. My Iphone is unlocked v2.1 with Pwnage running T-mobile and I have had this problem forever. Anyone else experience this issue?

It takes about 2 seconds to hit the call button and move it to your ear. Cut down on the sugar a little, speedy.
The phone has to physically pick the call up.

okay then 5 seconds, as I say "hello" for 2-3 seconds and cannot hear the other end and they cannot hear me. I'm wondering if this is related to overload of wireless signal cause of wifi, and perhaps influenced by unlocking.

The phone is not picking the app up quickly enough it seems. If it is dragging you might be hogging resources somewhere.

Here's a way to find out, install top from cydia, open up terminal on your computer, ssh into your phone, type in top; check out what process is slowing you down.

1) Install openssh (in cydia)
2) download winscp (windows) or cyberduck (mac)
3) run the appropriate program from step 2 (based on your OS of course)
4) Insert the ip of your iphone (you can get this from going into setting and then wifi on the phone and there should be some numbers like "192.168.x.x")
5) username: root password: alpine
6) Congratulations you are no logner an SSH virgin

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.
