Default Iphone 2.1 can't ssh (after Bossprefs)

I installed Bossprefs (after previously being able to ssh into my phone) and even though the switch is toggled to on, I can't ssh anymore.
I tried reinstalling Openssh from both Installer and Cydia, no go.
    I uninstalled Bossprefs, no go.
Reinstalled Bossprefs and toggled the switch on and off and on. No go.
Nothing seems to be working. I can't even use Total Commander to connect via usb.

are you using mac or windows?
Have you tried iphonebrowser (windows)? does it connect?

I may be new, but try this...

    uninstall Openssh
    uninstall Bossprefs
    restart iphone (just do it)

Open cydia, go to manage packages. Look to make sure bossprefs and openSSH are not there. (your double checking to make sure it was removed)

open installer, go to categories, installed packages. Make sure bossprefs and openSSH is not listed there either. (your tripple checking to make sure it was removed)

    reinstall Openssh (cydia)
    reinstall Bossprefs (cydia)

Connect your iphone to your wireless network.

try to SSH into your iphone again...

    Any luck?

I've had to deal with this before. I'm trying to remember the fix.....

Aye that was a while back........ I think it was blocking a new host key in the computers firewall if I remember correctly. I know Little Snitch was catching it at one time.
